After 16 days of conflict between Iran and the Israel–U.S. coalition, an Israeli security official claimed that Israeli forces have destroyed around 70% of Iran’s missile launch platforms since the beginning of the war. According to the official, this has significantly reduced the scale of Iranian missile attacks.

In the early days of the conflict, Iran launched dozens of missiles toward Israel in each wave of attacks. However, the security official told the newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth that the number of missiles fired in each wave has declined as the war has progressed.

Meanwhile, Israeli military spokesperson Effie Defrin stated that the Israeli army still has “thousands of targets” inside Iran. He added that beyond the existing targets, the military continues to identify new ones every day, and operations will persist in order to further weaken Iran’s government and its military capabilities.

The Israeli military also announced that it has expanded the scope of its strikes, targeting locations in western and central parts of Iran.

According to Israeli officials cited by the newspaper Haaretz, Iran has launched approximately 250 missiles toward Israel since the beginning of the conflict up to March 13. Data reported by French intelligence sources indicate that at least 12 people have been killed in Israel during the attacks.
